Youth Mentoring

Since 2023 we have been working in a local secondary college connecting and mentoring the most challenging of students and have had great success with helping the students gain value, respect and purpose. Students have been more connected, respectful and engaged in class and school activities.

Toward the end of 2024, we began work with the Salvation Army in relation to working together to support and mentor the youth within the school and the local area.

Project 2025: Our 2025 project will be working with up to 20 students from the local secondary college.

We have a 3 stage program where the group will be split up into 3 groups.

• One group will learn to be a barista by training them to use our professional coffee machine.
• One group will fit out a trailer that will become the coffee van.
• The other group will learn character building skills.

We will then teach them business skills in how to run a coffee van. We will rotate each group so that all have the experience of each area.
