Since 2023 we have been working in a local secondary college connecting and mentoring the most challenging of students and have had great success with helping the students gain value, respect and purpose. Students have been more connected, respectful and engaged in class and school activities.
Toward the end of 2024, we began work with the Salvation Army in relation to working together to support and mentor the youth within the school and the local area.
This year we have begun an after school table tennis program and engaged a table tennis coach. This program is aimed at the youth within the local Frankston North area. How we are engaging the youth is through the chaplain in the secondary college who has identified the youth that need the strongest mentoring support and has put us in connection with them.
